Forty years ago, I was born in a small settlement called ‘Jalandhrian’ near Lalke village, District Sheikhupura. In those days, there was no electricity or modern awareness. Life was limited, and professions were only seen as being a teacher or a soldier.

The Trial of Disability My birth brought silent worry. Born with one weak leg and a smaller foot, the lack of medical knowledge led people to blame “eclipses” and superstitions. A village elder, ‘Amman,’ tried to console my mother in Punjabi:
“Koi gal nai puttar, ki hoya jay lattan kamzor nain? Jay Fouji nai banay ga tay ki hoya, Master tay ban ee jaye ga na!” While meant as kindness, it showed society’s limited view of a person with a disability. My parents constantly worried: “How will this child survive?”
The Story That Changed My Life Medical treatment was unaffordable, but my father gave me something better: courage. He told me a story of a King who promised his daughter’s hand to any man who could survive a night in a freezing, icy room. Hundreds died, but one man survived.
Inside the room was a massive stone. Instead of shivering, the man used the stone as a tool. He lifted it, pushed it, and exercised vigorously all night. By morning, he wasn’t frozen; he was dripping with sweat. He turned a cold obstacle into life-saving heat.
Philosophy: Handle the Stone That story became my life’s compass. I realized the world is that “icy room,” and my disability is my “heavy stone.”
- Handle the Stone: If you treat your problem as a burden, it will crush you. If you handle it smartly and fight, it becomes your survival.
- Self-Value: The world only values you when you prove your worth. By transforming weakness into strength, I changed the way people looked at me.

My Successes By the grace of Allah and sheer hard work, I broke every barrier:
- I am a successful athlete and bodybuilder.
- I manage my own business.
- I am a Web Developer, thriving in the digital world.
Today, I earn more than many “able-bodied” individuals and live a full life. My message to you:
“Make the stone of your life your strength, or it will take your life. Handle it correctly, and you will become the star of the world’s eye.”
